  2.  WAVmaker 2.2 for Windows 95 and NT - Evaluation Package

  5.  WAVmaker 2.2 for Windows 95 and NT features CD quality  MID ->  
  6.  WAV rendering, tons of Digital Signal Processing functions (mix, 
  7.  maximize, fade, gate, compress, enhance, low/high/band/notch 
  8.  filter, ring modulation, vocoder, reverse, echo, reverb, flange, 
  9.  chorus, extend, cut, gated cut) and MIDI analysis/manipulation. 
  10.  Full on-line documentation is included.

  12.  WAVmaker is shareware. What you have received is the WAVmaker 
  13.  Evaluation Package, which comes with a subset of the full General 
  14.  MIDI patch/sample library delivered upon registration. A proprietary
  15.  sound data packer/unpacker (included) allows sound file distribution
  16.  on ordinary 3.5" HD disks. You won't believe your ears!
  17.  
  18.  Version 2.2 is a FREE upgrade for all registered users of version
  19.  2.0-2.1 (Advanced AND Standard). Users with an Advanced registration 
  20.  for versions 2.0-2.1 will still get a free update to the next major 
  21.  release when it becomes available. Compliments of Tommy Anderberg!

  23.  *** IMPORTANT ***: The ECHO.INI and REVERB.INI created by WAVmaker 
  24.  2.0 are not compatible with higher versions. If you intend to 
  25.  install WAVmaker 2.2 over version 2.0, you should delete ECHO.INI 
  26.  and REVERB.INI first.
  27.  
  28.  The Evaluation Package may be distributed freely for evaluation 
  29.  purposes. Full distribution and registration information is in the 
  30.  on-line docs.

  32.  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 386+. FPU recommended. MS Windows 95 or NT.
  33.                       3.2 MB free disk space (10+ MB recommended). 
  34.                       High quality sound card (16 bits/44.1 kHz/
  35.                       stereo) strongly recommended.
  36.                       
  37.  NOTE: WAVmaker 2.2 is also available for Windows 3.1.

  39.  If at all possible, use a good amplifier/speaker system (not pitiful 
  40.  PC gamer's speakers) to fully enjoy WAVmaker's CD quality output.

  42.  INSTALLATION:        Run INSTALL.EXE.

  44.  *** IMPORTANT ***: If you do not have a hardware floating point
  45.  unit, and you do not have a copy of the Watcom C/C++ compiler 
  46.  installed under Windows, you must add the following line to the 
  47.  [386Enh] section of your SYSTEM.INI file, in the Windows directory:

  49.  device=<path>WEMU387.386
  50.  
  51.  where <path> is the the directory where you have installed WAVmaker, 
  52.  e.g. C:\WMWIN\. Windows must be restarted for this line to take 
  53.  effect.
